3 Girls with Autism, 1 Family, Endless Possibilities

My name is Willa Sam. I am glad to have a place to express myself on behalf of my 3 girls who are nonverbal. I am the Mother and Wife in my beautiful family. My Husband, Michael is the Father of our three children. He is currently living with Kidney failure. My three girls have all been diagnosed with Autism since they were 2 years age. They are now 15, 12, and 10. I personally don’t know why the Universe has presented my family with these challenges just yet. I know that everything will be in my family’s favor. I believe in my family. I believe we were given the strength to go through every challenge we face today. I believe I can write my way to success. I believe that although my children cannot talk they can communicate with the world outside of them. I believe that we can enjoy quality time with the rest of our family. I believe that autism is a word to help everyone else acknowledge that human beings don’t always look like they have a disability. As I watch my children adjust to living and growing with autism I’m convinced they are the strongest girls you’ll ever meet. My light is my family. My children give me that check myself and correct myself kind of love. The unconditional love of my husband helps me look at myself through greatness. I am here for them. This is the family that helped me learn to love myself first. These nonverbal, autistic children gave me the inspiration to be a voice for the voiceless. I have some things to share with the world. I have to share this ausome family with the rest of the universe. We are moving forward, onward and upward, believe that. Follow my blog #AnAusomePlaceToBe. I’ll be sharing it all, from our family hardships to our victories. Please give your support by signing up for this blog. I look forward to sharing all the jewels I can on raising a loving family with disabilities.

I am one amazing human being named Willa Strong. I actually wrote my first book at 9 years old, it was called "The Kidnap". Now at 40 years my vision to be one of the best writers in the world is being fulfilled with the start of this blog. I am happy to give a voice to my three special children with autism and our family. Their struggles and their success have inspired me to give this life all that I have. Thank you for the support Strong-Walker Tribe. I love you!
